Maple Bacon

I feel silly even posting this because it’s that easy! I love Maple Bacon but a few years ago I realized most Maple Bacon was artificially flavored which really bummed me out. After making this at home just one time I was hooked! I make it just for fun and to much on. Just two ingredients… it does not get any easier. I also sat on the floor with the oven light on and a stop watch to calculate the perfect amount of time! Just because I love you guys !

Maple Bacon

Two ingredients and 13 minutes to absolute perfection !  Maple bacon without all the junky ingredients ! 
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 13 minutes
Total Time 18 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Nitrate Free Bacon
  • Maple Syrup

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. 
  • Cover a sheet pan with parchment paper. 
  • Place the bacon on sheet pan making sure the pieces don’t touch. 
  • Drizzle with as little or as much maple syrup as you would like. 
  • You can sprinkle with salt and pepper if you would like or even some crushed red pepper for some spice. 
  • Set a 13 minute timer for perfect bacon.
