Spicy Snack Mix

Super Bowl is tomorrow! Although I am not a Pro Football Fan I am a fan of Super Bowl Snacks! But heck who isn’t? For those of you (like me) with food allergies and sensitivities festive days like this can be difficult. This snack mix will satisfy that crunchy, spicy, savory combination of flavors we all crave and love.

Spicy Snack Mix

Crunchy, spicy, salty deliciousness don’t even come close to describe this tasty snack mix. 
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 12 minutes
Total Time 17 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Siete Chips I used Lime Flavor, gently crushed
  • 1 cup pepita seeds
  • ½ cup almonds sliced or slivered
  • ½ cup hemp seeds
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds
  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil melted
  • 1-3 tablespoons Siete Habanero Hot Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chile powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees 
  • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. 
  • Spread the above mixture onto a parchment covered sheet pan. 
  • Bake for 7 minutes
  • Mix and flip mixture before baking the remaining 5 minutes. 
  • Cool completely before storing.
