Paleo “Cheesy” Chive Biscuits
I love the “I NAILED IT” feeling I get when I make something and it taste just like I imagined it would! These biscuits are delicious, the onion and “cheese” flavor shine through magically ! Guess what ? They also freeze beautifully. I am so excited to share this recipe… I would love to hear some feedback as well.
Paleo “Cheesy” Chive Biscuits
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups almond flour blanched
- 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 tablespoon chives fresh or dried
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 2 teaspoons parsley dried
- 6 tablespoons ghee
- 5 eggs room temp
- 2 1/2 tablespoons honey
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- in a large bowl combine the almond flour, nutritional yeast, baking powder, sea salt, chives, onion powder and parsley.
- Add the ghee, eggs and honey.
- Using a medium scoop place dough just a 1/2 inch apart on parchment covered sheet pan.
- Bake until puffy and golden brown, depending on your oven this can take between 12-15 minutes.
- Serve right away or store in refrigerator or freezer.
